Appointment types
We deliver healthcare via a variety of appointment types.
We offer routine appointments, telephone appointments via
messages to your doctor, telephone appointments via the
daily medical team, home visits and emergency appointments
allocated by the daily medical team.
Routine Appointments
We operate a routine appointment system, allowing you
to book appointments 2 weeks in advance. Most appointments
are for 12.5 minutes. They can be made by either
telephoning the surgery, or direct with Reception.
Emergency/Urgent Appointments
Our Daily Medical Team is a 'triage' telephone appointment
system managed at King Street from 08:00 am - 11.30 am
Mon-Fri. Your details will be taken by our Medical Team
Receptionist and these will then be passed onto the
doctor/nurse. They will call you back as soon as possible;
please be available to answer the phone. Some medical
problems can be dealt with via this telephone appointment;
patients requiring an urgent medical appointments that day
will be given an emergency appointment consultation
