Headlice

Head lice are often passed from one child to another at nursery or school. They are not a sign or poor hygiene as the lice actually prefer clean hair! Medicated head lotion can be bought from the chemists with or without a prescription and the chemist will advise on its use. Remember to treat the whole family even if not everyone is itchy.
