You, the patient or public understand that the "Patient Toolbox" feature of the website is used at your own risk. Compass House Surgery cannot accept liability for any failed requests or submissions. If you decide to use any part of this toolbox, enter any information about yourself, or use any service available or that may arise on this website, you will have to enter information that is sent to us across the internet. This information will not be encrypted and is as safe as normal e-mail. We cannot guarantee that this information will not be seen by others.

Is the system Secure?
The system is basically as secure as normal e-mail.

Will my details be passed on to anyone else?
No, your details are safe with us. We will only use your details to validate who is using the service, or to get in contact with you if there is a problem with the request.

Is it fail safe?
We have tested the system as much as we can and the system has been running now for over 3 years. The only problems we have is where correspondence receipts sent to patients arrive in their e-mail inbox, but their spam software filters it as spam. Please do check your spam e-mails, and make sure you tell your system that our e-mail address and any e-mails you receive in future from us, are not spam.
